How to revert back to Old Facebook profile layout

1. Officially, according to Facebook Help center [facebook.com/help/?faq=19409]“You will not be able to switch back to the old design after upgrading”. So, if you do not like the look of new Facebook profile pages – do not attempt to uprade.

2. However, few users have successfully switched back by using a workaround of deactivating Facebook account for 10 minutes. Checkout procedure to deactivate Facebook account, make sure you only deactivate Facebook account and not delete it – be careful!

Deactivate Facebook account

1. Goto Facebook.com & login into your account.
2. Click Settings > Account Settings
3. Scroll down to click “Deactivate” option at bottom.

Note - Even after you deactivate, your friends can still invite you to events, tag you in photos, or ask you to join groups. If you opt out, you will NOT receive these email invitations and notifications from your friends. Deactivate will put your Facebook profile in dormant state.
